POPULAR and expected winners ang mga nagwagi sa 22nd PMPC Star Awards for Movies last Friday. Biggest winner in terms of the quality of awards ang Blue Moon ng Regal Films winning four, Movie of the Year, Director of the Year for Joel Lamangan, Screenplay of the Year for Allan Tijamo and Production Designer of the Year for Joey Luna although in quantity. Nakalima naman ang Star Cinema movie na Nasaan Ka Man, ang Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for Claudine Barretto and Gloria Diaz, Editor of the Year for Marya Ignacio, Cinematography for Charlie Peralta and Sound Engineering for Addis Tabong. Sina Aga Muhlach at John Lloyd Cruz, ang magkapatid sa Dubai na pelikula rin ng Star Cinema ang nanalong Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. Nanalo rin si Ogie Alcasid for the same movie for the Theme Song Of The Year. The big digital movie winner naman was Ang Pagdadalaga Ni Maximo Oliveros winning three awards, Digital Movie of the Year, Director and New Movie Actor for Nathan Lopez. GMA Films got two awards, Ryza Cenon for New Movie Actress para sa Love Struck and Vince De Jesus for Musical Score sa Let The Love Begin. Siyempre, mawawala ba ang tie? Elijah Castillo for Pepot Artista and Annalyn Bangsi-Gil for Ang Daan Patungong Kalimugtong shared the Best Child Performer of the Year. Si Ara Mina naman ang nanalong Darling of the Press. Five years nang nano-nominate si Ara, pero ngayon lang siya nanalo.
